RTD wins first Climate Change Leadership award

We have some very exciting news to announce from Daisies/ Gardens head quarters. The first winners of the inaugural Climate Change Leadership Awards were announced at a function at the Sandton Sun on Thursday, 11 March 2010. We are very excited to report that out of seven finalists, Rocking the Daisies Music Festival received the award for the Small and Medium Business Sector. Click here to find out more!

Hemporium

Hemporium is a South African hemp company, founded in 1996. We aim to educate people about hemp’s potential through the use of innovative products while creating an awareness of all that hemp has to offer. Our long term goal is to promote the cultivation and use of industrial hemp as a sustainable crop in South Africa.

Killer Joule?

A completely viable electric car has yet to hit the world’s showrooms, but South Africa might just be the country to provide the answer. Later this year Optimal Energy is scheduled to release the first demo of its Joule – a car that runs entirely on electric energy.
